If a company hires you on without a contract and tells you the pay rate per mile and puts only that in writing, but also tell you at the time that you take the job it will be two weeks out before you get paid and then every week there after with a 10% retainage held for 90 days. But they wouldn't give you any of this in writing and now you have been on the job for several weeks. Now they are telling us that it will be another 2 weeks out before we get paid and then 30 days after that. This is totally different from what they said up front what can a small company like us do since we don't have anything in writting.
Help me out with a solution.
