Cox in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Newport News, Hampton and the surrounding area is shut down as far as splicing goes. I just got to this job about three months ago with the promise of 9-12 months work. Now it seems that it was just a dream. They are currently planning to restart the upgrade in Jan 2002 but there is some other work going on in the mean time. Aerial make ready mostly.
