Getting Zero Response from CABL Job??

I wanted to put this out there and see if others in the industry are having the same experience.

I’ve submitted multiple applications through the CABL job board recently—roles that align directly with my background in telecom construction and operations—and I haven’t heard a single thing back. No acknowledgment, no follow-up, nothing.

I understand companies get volume. I understand not every applicant is a fit.
But zero response across the board raises a bigger question:

Are these jobs actually being actively filled?

What I’m seeing (and I’m curious if others are too):

  • Roles posted across multiple platforms with no clear hiring owner
  • The same jobs reposted repeatedly
  • No communication from recruiters or companies after applying

And this isn’t just CABL—it’s happening across LinkedIn, Facebook Jobs, and other boards—but in telecom it seems especially bad.

We’re in an industry that constantly talks about labor shortages and needing experienced people… yet qualified applicants are getting no engagement.

That disconnect doesn’t make sense.

At some point, it becomes less about “not being selected” and more about:

  • Lack of process
  • Lack of accountability
  • Or roles that may not be active to begin with

I’m not posting this to complain—I’m genuinely trying to understand if this is:

  1. A widespread issue others are seeing
  2. A breakdown in how hiring is being managed in telecom
  3. Or something specific to how these jobs are being posted and handled

Would appreciate hearing from others:

  • Are you getting responses from CABL job postings?
  • Are these roles being filled through the platform, or through direct connections?
  • Are companies actually monitoring these applications?

My takeaway so far:
The best opportunities in this industry still come from direct relationships—not job boards.

Curious to hear everyone else’s experience.
