My Apollo has developed an issue. The front ring gear (on the front hub, not the rotating drum), on the passenger front side is not aligning with the ring gear on the rotating drum about every 20 spins. All the other gears align great. I've torn it down several times and don't see the issue. it spins freely and smoothly on the shop bench, but when being tensioned by lashing wire in the field it hangs up with the teeth not aligning on that one gear. I may have to put up a span of strand on my property to figure it out. (covered in ice and snow)
The Apollo is and has been a great lasher, it hasn't seen a ton of use in the last two years, as the C and the DCD Eagle have been the workhorses, however, I'm getting into some bigger bundles again recently and need it to run like it used to.
This Apollo was bought new, is in excellent condition, has less than 100 miles on it, has never been dropped. I emailed GMP, only received a generic response including charges for rebuild services. I am very capable of fixing it, just looking for tips from the community.
Thank You
