I know a contractor that paid hourly when we were all paying unit. He converted to units and every body is happier. I pay in the same units I bid. If I bid a job hourly I pay by the hour. If I bid by the piece I pay by the piece. I have no complaints from any worker who what’s to work. The ones that complain show up late or not at all on some days. The will have short checks either way.
