The stuff I would be doing wouldn't need to be that sensitive to up time. Obviously to keep it short as possible. I'm just really looking at a beginning without completely stopping what I'm doing. I like the idea of over shadowing someone and probably could get away with doing that 2 days a week on top of what I do now. As far as aerial and underground I have little to no interest in that. As far as running a fiber tv node, or a fiber line from switch to switch, sure. More than likely it would be a/v related at this point in time. Mostly working with CPE equipment. Maybe a tiny bit on the provider side. Again that provider side is usually the satellite side and not the catv networks. So I'm trying not to sweat it too much. As time goes on like everything else the skills will develop. I'd just like to have the option of making a cable vs prefab all cables. Just like cutting a prefab cable to make 2 cables because sometimes you need that second cable.
I appreciate everyone's advise and thank you again.
