Most of my career was OSP Projects (aerial-UG Coax-Copper-Fiber) however I'd tell you to Stick to the inside fiber work, I've placed hundred's mile of fiber in college campus, auto plants, steel mills, coal mines, prison, hospitals, court houses. The reason I say this for you: If you get into OSP work, beside the required fiber splice/test equipment, you will need to learn to climb poles, ladders, buckets to reach your work, even if you work from a splice trailer, you gotta get to the cable. There is plenty of work out there for ISP laborers, splicers, techs Good Luck-Keep Safe: MicroMan
