Try and work with someone who is actually certified with at least 15 yrs exp. There's alot of so called splicers out there that can't read an OTDR or understand what -20 represents at the tap or node. In your case check light at the node and then go from there. The Fiber market is saturated with low ball splicer operators that can't do anything beside hit the button. I got lucky and and got hired out of the MainFrame world as it was dying went to Siecor school then continued to NCTI and two FOA courses. Good Luck
