The problem is MSOs don’t want to pay. Altice is pulling fiber throughout the five boroughs of NY and Long Island but their Primes are paying $13.50 HP and $.60-$.65 for Strand and Lash. How as a subcontractor are you going to run a bucket with crew and flaggers on those rates? It’s impossible, you’d lose money everyday you set up. But the work is getting done cause some fly by night company will take that contract. It’s sad.
