I always treated my employees like I wish the companies I used to work for would pay me when it came to per diem and wages when interviewing I always told perspectives my theory that since per diem was not taxed I would pay them the max per diem and a little bit lower wages they would take home more money at the end of the week little things like that always made my Crews the most productive on any project and most General Contractors told me to make sure my employees never told their employees what I was paying them also if they didn't come out of the motel room any day of the week if were hungover or took a personal day they got charged back to motel room I also pay them One Way Driving Monday morning Friday nights on their own back to the house
