anytime travel is required lodging and food allowance should be paid to an employee, you should include this as part of your bid on any out of town work. You cant exspect a man to pay for his home at home and on the road, and most people have families they buy groceries for at home so you cant expect them to pay for groceries in two places. Dont be taken advantage of but value your men and look at it from their point of view. Its hard enough to raise a family now days with out paying double expenses. If your paying for lodging then 30 dollars a day per man is a reasonable amount. Since they have a kitchen then 20 dollars a day per man for groceries.
