I’ve noticed the same thing. Couldn’t agree with you more Micro. There is no money in this business anymore for the contractor doing the actual work. It seems as if the megas have a take it or leave it attitude. The problem is that there is always some sucker willing to loose money.
I just looked at a job for one of the mega contractors. Their pricing was 4 years old. That told me they had no idea of the difficulty of the work they had quoted. So I gave them a fair price for the work at hand. They said they would loose money at that price. Imagine that.............
