You sir, are a smart man. You are correct about the cable companies being crooked. I worked as a contract tech on piece rate for bright house years ago in central Florida...I slid into the telecom side of things and it is a night and day difference. When I go in to assist AT&T, CenturyLink, Verizon, Windstream ETC I am paid what a communications technician working a disaster should be paid. I am currently in Troy Alabama awaiting what this pig of a storm is really doing, then going from there. Thanks for all of your knowledge and first hand experiences you share with all of us.
