FPL-Florida Pwr and Light has around 11,000 men and equipment mobilized in 20 different staging area's, ready to roll once the storm blows over. However, all plant has to be rode out first to verify damage and what type of crew is needed to make repair. It will be balls to the wall once they start, of course...not like the cable industry...these crews will be on full overtime "Hourly" pay with "Full" motel/food paid. When the hell is the Cable MSO's going to wake up and start treating the cable lineman/splicer/tech like the utility workers are paid. Cable MSO will want you to work on units....when it's a damn National Disaster !!!
Just keep safe: MicroMan
