Verizon has split into 3 divisions:
Media & Telematics-AOL/Yahoo...doing $7billion in revenes with 1.3 Billion users.
Networking & Technology-Your find FTTH operations
Customer & Product Operations-Wireless with revenes of $120 Billion and 120 Billion users
As I see it, the split is there long term vision to be prepared for the digital world that we are now living in. Hummm-think the cable MSO even have a long term vision, if they don't move on and start investing rebuild's with FTTH.....there won't be any MSO's, they will be bought out and their systems used as the last mile to the home....which is already outdated.... Wake Up Cable World !!
