I noticed that the flag on base was at half mast today to honor Nancy Reagan. What did she do to deserve this honor?
I was young when Ronald Reagan was in office and although I do not agree with some of the stuff that took place under his command that I read many years later I understand the flying the flag at half mast to honor his service or disservice depending on your political views.
The only thing I know of Mrs. Reagan is the "Just say no" campaign that worked incredibly unwell for the youth of America. And the carrying of the war on drugs torch that again in hindsight has done more harm than good arguably.
Any thoughts?
But than again we had the flag at half mast for Whitney Houston also... I digress.
