If your suing a property owner because your clumsy that's pretty sad. This should be a work comp issue. Also if you were not on the property at the specific request of and being paid by said property owner you should have no claim to any damages from them. The last thing anyone needs is a meter reader stubbing their toe and suing a home owner over it.
