I did find a location for the odu on a flat roof initially that was about 10 ft outside sidewall next to an air cooler that services the telecom closet. There is an easy route directly into this room, however this closet is on the 2nd floor and some distance from the 4 viewing locations.
Any thoughts on locating all irds in IDF/telecom room and routing just AV signals via Component to Cat6 converters. May be much easier to route the Cat6 instead since you mention it.
