I agree with what youre saying Joe.......But these background check companies are getting filthy rich because everyone is using them now....And they should be held accountable for mistakes made that cost people jobs....I had a felony arrest reported on one of my reports and lost the job....but the charge was dropped and the arrest record was older than seven years and against the law to report ......like i said he has nothing to lose by signing up it dont cost anything and if the lawyers get most of the money at least somebody put it to the background companies and next time they will think twice about misreporting info
