Most of the class action things I have seen = the lawyers get a major share of any judgment. They deduct all expenses and then deduct a third or more. What is left is sliced up among the members of the class. ......Then there is the appeal process.
The other way around isn't any better........once all the assets are gone the corporation just vanishes. IF one can find assets AND get a judgement the chances of getting damages paid may be a little better.
My suspicion = a reason why tech are leaving the "industry" as quick as they can is the slim chance of being paid. Turnover is high..........a new generation arises to accept less money & more theft of services.
