I agree.  Maybe a few independents here and there will one day sway things from the extreme.  I know there is even a down side and extreme to that too.  Even if a candidate seems to be moderate by their parties standard, they get sucked into the extreme.  Kind of like a kiss ass trying to fit in or get ahead.  One good apple doesn't last long in a congress full of bad ones.  It's not all bad, just disappointing.
