Re: Charter Sub company let me go


All companies allowing you to drive their vehicles have strict policies on driving records; for insurance purposes.  The $350.00 truck fee for every 2 weeks sounds like your employer is attempting to take advantage of you.

My recommendation would be to obtain your own truck and go 1099.  1099's seem to be not as profitable as it used to be, but it will provide work and decent income depending on your speed and quality until driving record corrects itself.
