I was on a plane from Jacksonville FL to Kansas City MO to start work with a new company. The Captain came over the intercom and said there was a national emergency and we were diverting to Chicago. It wasn't until we landed and got off the plane that we found out what was going on. I ended up renting a car and driving to KC.
To all those who died this day in the attacks, you will not be forgotten.
To all those who helped in the aftermath I thank you for you service.
To those that attacked us may you rot in hell.
