Re: British Papers Show No Mercy

A: He has cut the deficit by roughly 50% - A deficit that he is directly responsible for and grew exponentially under his watch.  A deficit that grew at roughly the same rate under GWB.  Good job BHO, you managed to cut part of the problem you helped create.  If your response is that he is not responsible, I say yes.  You are correct.  He is not responsible. His job is not to be responsible.....No.  Wait......
B: Slowing the rate of spending in comparison to what?  If you can tell me that the federal government is not wasting millions of taxpayer dollars every day, you are lying to yourself.  And this is true under every president in modern time.  Oh, I guess that means we should look the other way and let it continue.  I guess that is only true if you are drinking the koolaid of the current administration.
C:The number of executive orders means nothing if the details of the executive order are not included in the argument.  My personal feelings are that the government over reaches its bounds on a daily basis.  Exec orders are just one example of this.  I also personally feel that the base of our government is leaning far too close to socialism than I am comfortable with.  Both R's and D's are making major mistakes on this front.
D: These issues are are a common thread with modern era presidents.  The order of the importance may change with each president, but the problem is there.  But under BHO, the issues have not been addressed by the major media until recently.  But I am sure that I am just being too picky, expecting too much of the people that lead our country.
If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. Quit being part of the problem!
