Re: Question for the People Working in CO

All employers have to follow OSHA guidelines and rules and since pot is illegal on the federal level, all companies have to follow those guidelines. I have a friend that works for a Medical dispensary in Colorado and all of their employees are tested.

The insurance companies are loving it, because they have classified all Medical marijuana card holder as High risk drivers, also the 7 bordering states are having checkpoints entering their states looking for vehicles transporting marijuana across state lines and they are wracking up tons of Felony arrests. Where a simple possession of 1oz or less receives a citation and their stash is confiscated, crossing a state line becomes a Class 3 Felony with possible confiscation of your vehicle.

My son in law is a personal assistant for a US Senator that is on the DOJ Committee that is trying to change the laws on simple possession of cannabis crossing a state line with 1oz and under to a citation, But Eric Holder stands firm that he is not going to change the Federal law during his administration and is going to leave it up to the next administration to make that choice.
