Well thats par for Google/Bear.... is John B still there? Amazing... They pulled the old bait and switch on us... They lured us in with a mid range price on single fusion splicing and then after being there 6 weeks they wanted us to ribbonize the incomming loose tube and splice it to the ribbon cables in side the LCP. All for about 60% of the going price for that type of work... We had a ribbon machine (50R) and let it go because we never used it... Why would you go from single loose tube splice to a ribbon splice... your just asking for problems... you will never get better than a .20db on all 12... and the 12 one is usually over .30db. Does anyone on this job know what they are doing? They had different crews working over each other in the same fiberhood. We preped an LCP one day the next day when we got on site...Some yahoo Simonian form Seattle (Manto Tao?) had set on our LCP all night and completed the splice in our preped LCP...That was the Straw...Had to go!!!! lost on that one...
