No...those chargebacks are not part of the problem. They would pay you to go back and replace a defective box.
From my limited cable experience the expensive items I would list would be:
INSURANCE...They needed gen liability & workers comp from me even though I would not be covered by the comp.................Routing was irregular....gaps in the AM & PM periods with some late appointments long after I had finisfed other work.
There were chargebacks....in my case it was obvious the manager was making money by repairing QC items without any notification of a problem and in enough cases there was no problem; he lied and stole the money; I quit. Wewnt and did sats for ten years.
