There is an auxiliary switch on the parking brake that is bad , if you plan to do linework you will need to bypass it, if you are splicing only I suggest to replace it, because no one will be in the truck to stop from rolling down the hill or off the cliff when you forget to set the parking brake, if you plan to do both just put a toggle switch on the dash.
