It depends on where you want to go. The White House...Ft. Meade...THEY LOOK! Indianhead Missile Motor Test Center base housing.....count the trucks in and out.

Funny thing with one of the bases that can go unnamed........They do a full dress search for weapons going in with a special look for correct badges and stickers.On the way out...drop your pass in the trash if you want...leave when done.They might have a camera or two on the gate.  So the local cops bust a base employee with thousands of bucks worth of computers, office desks,copiers, cabinets & stuff. The base security didn't even know the stuff was missing. 

A contractor on base to work will be ok.The screw around time costs something. I would be tempted to eat that charge for a service family....esp if they could set up a few installs for the same day.....and it could be  good deal because military families come and go. Eventually all the units are prewired.
