The splitter we are currently using is the Regal ZDS2DGH10 (part# for the 2 way) 120db EMI Isolation, they cost a little more but they are far cheaper than repeat truck rolls.
Using the SDA5000 we could see BER issues, on the box diag screen it would show uncorrected errors in the thousands per second.
