Satellite or Cable?

I have been watching the employment ads and seems to be alot work around especially in the southeast which is where I am. If you going start over in your career knowing what you know now,would you choose satellite or the cable. I think I have made a decision to make the move from telephone to tv starting in a month or so. Just looking for the pros and cons of each. I want to make a informed decision.Thanks
