Since our government has been shut down...17 male and female soldiers have been killed. This is bad enough for any family to deal with however now the government says it's shut down, don't have any funds to transport the dead soldiers back home to there loved ones and a final resting place. Also the family won't be getting the $100,000 life insurance policy the soldi
er's have on them.
It's up to each family to come up with the funds to get them back home and buried. They gave their life's for our nation and our government acts in this manner. It's a National Disgrace for every American. Freedom is not free except in our governments case, they don't have funds for this but they sure do for luncheon meetings and all the other B/S that goes on in Wahington.
Our soldiers gave their life's, the least this nation could do is to get them back on American soil. We always say....We Never Leave Our Dead Behind....but we sure let them down on this one.
I'm ashamed of our nation, our government. I'd bet if one of those congressmen had a son/daughter killed, there would be no ceiling on funds to get them home.
