The story I mentioned was not for Frontier but happened last year when CWA and Qwests agreement expired. I was in the union 27yrs before I went into management. In that time we only went on stike once, and at that time we were being forced to work 70 hours a week, not asked to but forced to.
Went out for two weeks, and got a clause in the contract that manditory overtime capped at 49hrs a week, and anything after that payed double time. To me it was never about the money, but about having things in writting that covered our work environment. The overtime clause remained until this year, as it was raised to 55 hrs before doubletime pay.
