I once had a manager tell me that a splitter jumper less than 12" can cause trouble calls. The idea being that the cable can expand and contract and if too short can cause issues. I have looked everywhere, but I can't find any standards that dictate anything about length of jumpers. Have you heard this and if so...is it documented anywhere?
