It is a requirement if you are working high line power or tower work.
basically it is a rescue/recovery course and can be very pricey, a 2 day course is about $600.00 that includes Cert. but it is good for life.
Plus a good advantage having it you will get hired on spot, when my Son was promoted to a supervisor it took him 8 weeks for an opening in a class.
