Re: Why Drill?

"Just in Texas along at the barnett shelf, where fracking has started in the last few years, has experienced a multitude of earthquakes, the same is in East Texas near Lufkin, fracking began, and earthquakes followed." Please provide some type of proof of how this is related to fracking, not speculation. I gave you proof that the whole setting water on fire was not caused by fracking. Why don't you give us proof that fracking causes earthquakes? Why are they not having any in North Dakota? They are fracking all over that state.

BWY last August they had a 4.5 earthquake in VA. Never had one there before, no fracking within 500 miles of the place but I guess the PA fracking is causing it.
You know they are fracking all over the middle east, when was the last earthquake to hit the
15 countries in the Middle East. Yemen, United Arab Emirates, West Bank, Syria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, Israel, Bahrain, Iran and Gaza Strip?

Republicans are not against solar, wind, or anyother alternative energy form. We just don't think the government should pick and and pay for the ones to develop it. The free market will spur the development of it, and when it is economically feasible it will replace what we are using now.
I have a question for you until alternative energy is commercially viable what do you propose we use?
We need fossil fuels until alternative energy is truly ready. Why should we pay other countries for theirs when we are sitting on top of more than they will ever have? Why should we depend on others when we can be independant? Why not creat jobs by developing the energy sourse we have here in America. Before Obama took office all the enviromentalists were saying natural gas was the clean new fuel. Why is it now when it's been revealed we have more natural gas then anyone else in the world they don't say a word? The switch to natural gas can be done easy, the technology is already developed and in use throughout the world. Why all of a sudden are the enviromentalists quiet on natural gas?
Just building the Keystone pipeline will creat 20K direct jobs and over 100K jobs to support it. Everything from pipe and people to install and maintain it to store and restraurnt workers, and truck drivers. Just imagin the growth of the economy if the US would develop its energy resources.....
If everyone is thinking alike, someone isn't thinking.
