Just depends on if you are happy with the place you are working.  I am a lead tech in my market and I am pretty much expected to do the same as you have outlined and I don't get a salary just a little higher percentage on my piece work and I am very happy with my position.  Every place I have worked the supervisors get a small weekly salary but still get a high percentage on their piece payThe highest salary I have seen is $500 a week.  I always aim for around $1000 a week no matter how I get there if that is a salary or production I am good as long as I get there.
