I understand economics, maybe you should look up the true definition of economy, or better yet, I'll spell it out for you..
Economy: : thrifty and efficient use of material resources : frugality in expenditures; also : an instance or a means of
By that definition alone, the economy has been crap for the past 50 years. And if you have to ask why I say that, then it just proves that you are as ignorant on the subject as I believe you are.
