Directv, Dish Network, Cable companies....just my oppinion but it's the big companies keeping expenses down. As the cost of programming, fuel, insurance and employee expenses keep going up and up, the way to keep the rates down for their customers is for them to the expenses down...hence...lower the pay for installaion and sales. Hell...the dealers and retailers for these companies have taken pay hits in the past. Last year Cox cable here in Omaha got rid of half of their residential installers and maintenance grew and went to contractors.....than at the first of the year made their contractors change the "sub-contractors" to employee status.
