Is Obama Mentally Fit?

Is Obama Mentally Fit To Serve As President?

American history proves that, in the past, many of our leaders have suffered from mental illness. For me, I tend to believe that quite a few of our Presidents had mental health issues of one kind or another. After all what person desiring any peace in their lives would want the job of U.S. President under the best of conditions. However, it appears that there are an abnormal number of eccentricities residing in President Obama and I genuinely wonder if he is mentally fit to run our Republic.
In layman’s terms: Obama is egocentric, always late to work, never gets his work done one time, takes a lot of time off to recreate and party, loves to be the center of attention, hates to be questioned, holds a grudge, associates with reckless ideologues, deludes himself into believing his own lies, avoids responsibility, never admits he made a mistake, thinks stealing is perfectly reasonable, has empathy issues, spends recklessly, has a messiah complex, takes credit for things he never did, can’t argue honestly, is thin skinned, can’t be trusted to keep his word, is uncomfortable in public (unless at a distance), exhibits signs of paranoia and doesn’t have a problem with risky sexual behavior. Just to name a few of the things causing me to wonder about his mental fitness.
And this is the man America has elected to—among many other important issues—walk with a nuclear football and decide if I or any one of us are an imminent threat to national security? Personally I don’t think Obama could pass a drug test, much less a psych exam.
When it comes to mental health there is an old Hill-Billie expression near and dear to my heart: I wouldn’t let that man babysit a chicken. Basically chickens don’t need babysitting, but I think you get the point. With all the legitimate hype about mentally ill people taking weapons of some kind or another and committing mass murder, isn’t it about time Americans start demanding that our leaders pass mental competency exams before they take office or better yet run? Setting our Constitution aside, do we really want to risk having a commander in chief who thinks drone strikes and special operations command are his personal version of “Call of Duty?” Or worse thinks the U.S. economy is just an elaborate Monopoly game with an unlimited number of get out of jail free cards, because in reality, that is exactly who we may have in the White House at the present time.
Many in America make the argument that President Obama is evil, the anti-Christ or a radical communist hell bent on destroying our Republic. Has anyone stopped to consider that this man may be a high functioning lunatic who can’t handle the volume of radical influences he surrounds himself with and he really isn’t capable of being in charge? Is he just doing what he is told so that he can bust off and play golf or sit around in his bathrobe and watch ESPN?
I’m not defending the guy. His behavior reminds me of someone I used to know. The type of individual, who could cause chaos, manage it, grow it, loved it, and when it fell apart, make you feel like you were responsible even though it was their idea. Then they would run around telling everyone stories of how you purposely engineered it, to make them look bad, because you’re manipulative and untrustworthy. Meanwhile they would offer to throw you a party in your honor.
Back in the day, unless you were picking apples off an imaginary tree in the middle of your living room, most mild mental health issues were seen as eccentricities. Today our mental health community has a better grasp on the cause and effect of mental illness. All experts agree that mental illness can be inherited and is shaped by an individual’s environment and experiences. Given Barack Obama’s mothers history of poor mental health it isn’t an unreasonable leap to conclude that something is not mentally right with our President. Or is it safer to assume that America would never elect an emotionally imbalanced individual to the highest office in the land?
Each and every day that goes by it becomes more difficult to understand our government’s public policy decisions. The lines have been made very blurry. Why is it that we are so quick to assume that it is always purposeful and ingenious? Perhaps the cause for all the confusion and chaos is one man; a man that doesn’t possess the understanding and mental ability to know the difference between right or wrong and truth or lie.
Perhaps this should be part of an amendment offered if anyone attempts to repeal or modify the 2nd Amendment. Like they are trying to do right now.
