Re: How close is too close?

300’ through a ceiling with a tap on both ends.  Coax is the county’s who’s building  it is, they are OK with a SS but I think I’ll have these boys to listen next time I’ll have them re-pull it. It was even marked on the print they had. I haven’t dealt with coax in a while, been doing nothing but fiber for some time. But thinking back on it I seem to remember that when we had to piece out cable on pole transfers and such we put the splices out about 6 to 8 feet. Thanks for the answer.
