Everything these guys are saying is true. It's been a long time since I was in SoCal, but San Diego is comparable to the S.F. Bay Area where a line tech working for an MSO makes between $23 and $35 an hr. depending on experience. San Diego is expensive to live in, if you don't live in town be prepared to drive 1 - 1 1/2 hours to work. It's a trade off, either you pay through the nose for a place to live or you pay to keep the vehicle moving and spend your life in the car. The Golden State used to be the place to go, now all that gold is just dragging it under.
