It was not indentured servitude. These were white slaves. Most came from Scotland.They were kidnapped, loaded on slave ships and sold in the Americas. You should read up on it. White slaves were treated worse than black slaves, and not only were they slaves for life so were their children. Look up "white slaves in America".
