more people in  the US die from other means of desmise than guns...So lets ban baseball bats, knives, rat poison, alcohol, cars, prescription narcotics and all the problems will be solved.......Don't blame the instrument used to kill, rather the person who committed the act..when guns are outlawed,  only outlaws will have guns. Besides, an assault weapon was NOT used in this tragic case, it was  a bolt operated series of .22 caliber long rifles. Several handguns were recovered as well. They recovered a .223 Bushmaster but is was not used and in his mom's trunk of her car, AND all the guns belonged to this guys mother........So get your facts straight before you engage your pie hole!!!! I am listening to the local news here as I am just a short distance from the area in Conn......
