Bail out with what? projected income tax from grade school kids 15 years from now that they'll borrow money against from the fed? Eventually the Shylocks are going to want their vig and principal back as we become an even worse high risk customer.
The economy is on life support and eventually the electric company is going to say "we cannot extend any more credit" and the plug will get pulled. After the inevitable crash we will either pull together as a nation, rebuild, and put in place safe guards to prevent this from ever happening again, or we will turn on each other and this will not be a pleasant or safe place to live.
Ever see a science experiment where they place hundreds of rats in the same area where they cannot escape and provide no food and water? Get's ugly real fast.
