Re: The Real Story of Thanksgiving

The only person on her that is bashing gays is the one calling them fags(lashpuppy). I couldn't care one way or the other.

Once again I refer you to the original post and what the writer was truly writing about. The writer pointed out that when the Pilgrims first came to America they lived and worked under a form of socialism and were failing. They were all farming and hunting to be put into a common stockpile to be divided equely. But when William Bradford asigned each man/family a plot of land to work as their own and they could keep all they grew the colony thrived. Up until then they had no reason to do more than what was required to maintain the minimum, after they were free to keep what they grew as their own they did more than the minimum. It wasn't until after Bradford let them live up to their full potencial that the Pilgrims had more than enough food to be truly thankful.
Are not the rights to work up to your full potencial, with little or no government interference, to be able to keep what you make to do with as you please and not have the government take it away to give to others a big part of the reason America came into being?
If everyone is thinking alike, someone isn't thinking.
