"The deficit has already grown another 5.6 trillion dollars and that number is expected to hit 6 trillion by the end of the year. Obama called G.W. Bush un-American for a 8 trillion deficit after 8 years." This is wrong, the deficit is 1.6 trillion, actually lower than it has been in the past 3 years, the 'DEBT' is 5.6 trillion.
"Gas prices have more than doubled since Obama took office." This is also incorrect, the gas prices 2 months prior were pushing $4 a gallon, they did go down for a brief period, but then gradually increased, just as they did in the 8 years Bush was in office.
"Obama has promised his first term would bring 5% unemployment, grow the economy, cheaper gas, a lower deficit, more transparent government, affordable health care for all, lower taxes. He has delivered none of these." Also incorrect, he stated he would keep unemployment under 8%, which he did fail on until this month, under the current administration, Private sector jobs have now recouped over the amount of jobs lost under the Bush years. The deficit is now lower than it has been in the past 3 years. Single Payer system would have produced lower health care, thanks to the republicans this part of the bill did not pass. Taxes for middle class Americans have been reduced an average of $2000 per year.
"Come January 2, 2012 the tax cut started by G.W. Bush 11 years ago will come to an end." True, but congress and the White House are working on extending them. These tax cuts were also not counted in the budget during the Bush years, they were timed to expire on that date as to avoid being counted in the fiscal budget, if they would have been included ( along with both wars) the deficit under Bush would have been almost, if not more, than the 1.5 trillion deficit now, and the national debt, both foreign and held by the Fed, would have been closer to 4 trillion dollars.
Your right about one thing, every 4 years we get a redo, or 8. Obama may not be the best choice, but he is far from the worst president the country has had, I think Bush is in the running for that title. I also do not think Romney is right for the job, but I almost do hope he wins, just so he show everyone what he is really made of. IMO, I would rather have the devil we know, than the devil we don't.
