Rather than sit here day after day reading what certain people consider the truth, and trying to point out where they are wrong. I have decided not to post any more political opinions until after the election. I am not giving up I am just tired of beating my head against the wall. These misguided individuals have made up their minds and no amount of truth is going to change them. Insanity is doing something you know is going to fail, over and over again hoping for a different outcome.
What Obama is trying to do to the United States has been tried before in countries like the former Soviet Union, North Korea, Spain, Greece to name a few. All have ended or are ending in failure. But Obama is hoping for a different outcome. Insanity?
Obama has promised his first term would bring 5% unemployment, grow the economy, cheaper gas, a lower deficit, more transparent government, affordable healthcare for all, lower taxes. He has delivered none of these.
There are more people out of work today than when Obama took office. Even by Obama’s own numbers 7.8% unemployment is unacceptable.
The economy is growing at a lower rate each month than it did the month before.
Gas prices have more than doubled since Obama took office.
The deficit has already grown another 5.6 trillion dollars and that number is expected to hit 6 trillion by the end of the year. Obama called G.W. Bush un-American for a 8 trillion deficit after 8 years.
The Obama administration at this very moment is testifying before Congress about how and why an American Ambassador and three other Americans were murdered in a terrorist attack. It has come out that the administration knew within hours of the attack it was Alkida. But yet for a month said the attack sprang from a protest about a video tape that no one knew about until the Obama administration brought it up. Obama himself got up in front of the UN and gave a speech blaming the attack on the video, all the while knowing the truth.
With the advent of Obamacare, employers are already warning workers that if it takes full affect, they will be forced to cut hours or close up. Olive Garden, Red Lobster, and others have already sent out letters to their employees, stating that they will cut employees hours so they do not have to pay health insurance.
Come January 2, 2012 the tax cut started by G.W. Bush 11 years ago will come to an end. Everyone’s taxes will go up, government services will be slashed, the military will take the biggest hit of all. Obama says that with the war coming to an end he will take that money (the peace dividend) and use it to fund other programs. How can this be? Obama himself said Bush was paying for two wars by using a credit card from the bank of China. What has changed? We are still in Afghanistan and to a lessor extent Iraq. How can you take money that you were borrowing in the first place and call it a “peace dividend”?
For you people that support Obama, I’m sure you will sit there and argue about all of the above. Well I say have at it.
I have seen what Obama has done in just under 4 years and I say god help us all if he gets another 4 years. (And I’m a Buddhist)
Mitt Romney may not have been my first choice for president but in my opinion he will be better than Obama.
That is the beauty of America every 4 years you get a redo. Well unless Obama gets reelected. Then who knows..
