GOOD LUCK doing it for the scrap. If the running is real good not many anchors you might coud make a little. When steel was up to 13.5/ pd. The best price I was ablt to find was 15/lb whole. Just roll it up on a conduit spool and drop it off.You can get 3500 to 5000lbs on a spool. Or 10/lb strand , 28/lb jacketed, 32 or 35/ unjacketed. I have stripped and seperated it before. But not really worth it at all. But you did say you had split reels, not sure how that will work. They will wind at different speeds like a big tire vs a small tire. All of the lashing wire may or maynot be stainless or atleast enough they will reckonize it. The drops are the worst part chasing those down, and removing all the j&p hooks. Make sure to have silicone to fill the hole in the house if any ,or leave the hook in the house. See if you can cut off anchors below ground or if you have to screw them back out. The sand down there make not too bad. Butif you average a anchor for every four poles that is alot of time. It is supposed to br likr the system was never there except for the hole in the pole. I've only done a 100 miles or so, so that makes me no expert. But you need a footage price. Or tell them to give you a day or two to try it for free, and you sell what you take down. I know others that thought they could do for the scrap and found they too were wrong, way wrong. And they are good linemen. Good luck Shane
