In 2000 ,2001 a company came to eastern N.C. and bought our cable. They had a truck that compacted the cable, then they banded it and put it on a scale. I have a chance to wreck out about a hundred miles of plant that has been abandoned. The power company wants it done for the scrapping .It looks like unjacketed one inch trunk and 750/500 feeder. I have split reels and winders to make it easy work but was needing a price for scrap cable per pound.price for the strand per pound. price for stainless lashing wire. or a price for it just cut down and rolled up. I also have the hurst jaws for life to cut lashing wire, which cuts a whole roll of lashing wire in half in less then four seconds.It plugs into my bucket and makes delash/relash a dream.
